Recent graduate of Saint Andrews School, Connor Logan was seriously injured in a car accident on June 7, 2012. He was in Delray Medical Center in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit until Friday, June 22. He has been in a coma and remains in a coma as of this writing. He has slowly progressed at the hospital, with no set-backs, but he is still under care and will need a great amount of care, healing and rehabilitation.

Connor was flown to Shepherd Center in Atlanta Georgia. Shepherd Center is one of the top rehabilitation hospitals in the nation, specializing in medical treatment, research and rehabilitation for people with brain injury. We are thankful for this wonderful facility and have great hope that they will be able to help Connor and get him home to us as the Connor we all love. We have set up a Fund called, “Caring for Connor.” No one knows how long Connor’s care will take. The one thing we are sure of is that there will be enormous expenses associated with all the care. Kevin has been a teacher and is currently the Athletic & Activities Director at Atlantic High School. Gina has taught Special Education and English in Pennsylvania and at Atlantic High School for 30 years. They have given so much to help every child that they have guided while in these roles.

The reality is that nearly any family regardless of income or insurance will be battling bills when a crisis happens. Almost everyone can use an extra helping hand in these situations.
